The Bamboo Room is a local favorite in Ojochal – likely because of the excellent live music scene.
Los Gatos Locos makes all their food from scratch and is a casual treehouse style with more live music.
If you’re in the mood for something fancy, visit Citrus, the most famous restaurant in Ojochal. They will win you over with their unbeatable French cuisine and mixologist delights.
Exotica provides a relaxing and romantic environment with elegant flavors and delectable desserts.
Heliconia has a comfortable intimate dining room surrounded by tropical plants and trees. The food is a blend of American and Costa Rican tastes.
Castillo’s Kitchen is a Chef’s Table concept mastering the evolution of Costa Rican cuisine with fresh ingredients hand-picked by the Chef.
For a family style restaurant with plenty of space for large groups or events chose Fusion. Their extensive modern fusion style menu offers traditional recipes with exotic international dishes, including their specialty - sushi.

Villa Leonor is a casual outdoor option where you can enjoy both an incredible beach and lunch. Steps from Playa Ballena, Villa Leonor allows you to stroll down to the beach between courses or relax with a cold beer while the kids play in the pool.
If a casual pub is what you are looking for - Stan’s Café is the place of choice. They offer a large selection of Belgian beer, as well as French wines, cocktails and delectable bites.
Rustic and contemporary Ballena Bistro uses fresh local produce for all homemade dishes. It’s proximity to the ocean makes it a great choice for an après beach meal. Look for the goat on the roof.
Located at the mouth of the Terraba River, Mediterraneo Boca Coronado specializes in typical Costa Rican dishes.
Soda Ojoche is a small, outdoor, family-owned eatery where you will find an authentic taste of Costa Rica's food culture and learn how locals really eat. And you can get your car washed at the same time!
Restuarnt Térraba offers authentic roadside dining with bold dishes, friendly service, and large group seating.
Lastly – Ojochal is pleased to welcome Potz Bistro, the newest dining option in town.
With this long list of eclectic and delicious options, we haven’t even mentioned the nearby towns of Uvita and Dominical which are also packed with a flavor punch.
Wow, great explanation of the restaurants in Ojochal!! Ojochal is an beautiful small town with really nice options for food. My favorites are Citrus and Exotica for dinner :) Try them all and you won't be disappointed ! CM
